Macintosh, called as Mac the company to release the worlds first personal computer with a mouse feature and a GUI (Graphical User Interface) to the world. Owned by Steve Jobs. Some of the amazing stuffs about Macintosh 128k PC, (compare, how the today's technology is ???).

  • In 1980, their first successful microprocessor was released with Motorola 68000 with a CPU speed of only 5 to 8 MHz.
  • It has a 125 KB of RAM and 384x256 pixel resolution screen. Later they enhanced the display to 512x342 pixel resolution but a monochrome display (1 bit per pixel) on a 9 inch CRT.
  • They used the Lisa OS but later replaced with Mac OS, one of the successful first graphical Operating System in the world.
  • It has no fan inside and they claimed, the PC will be quiet while in operation.
  • The price of this first personal computer was USD 2495, 8-0)
